Job Description
We are looking for a creative, ambitious and talented Chef to join our team at Wild Coffee Bar on 7th Street, Industrial Area, Kampala.
Key skills needed:
• Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
• The ability to work under extreme pressure
• The ability to communicate in a fast-moving environment
• The ability to make good food consistently, even in a busy kitchen
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
• Leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Excellent time management abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations
• Culinary school diploma preferred
The ideal candidate will participate in improving and developing our menu to reflect the vision of Wild being a proud and innovative African brand.
Creativity, curiosity, passion and love for our continent's culinary traditions and natural resources will be vital.
